When all is said and done, it's a reasonable guide which means you could be benefitting from real energy savings for very little outlay, very quickly. So why only four stars you are asking? Well, maybe we were spoiled by our top selection, but we found the instructions a little bit harder to follow - and since ease of use is the leading factor, we decided to deduct a point. Also this guide contains only a limited amount of information about how to build your own wind generator, it concentrates mainly on building solar panels.

At one point in the construction we had to submit a support ticket when we encountered technical difficulties with the construction process, we received no response to our cry for help and were left to sort it out ourselves. A complete, responsive backup support system is a must if you are a complete beginner to power systems. Unfortunately this was a major downfall of this product.

On the whole this is a fairly decent guide, however unlike Earth4Energy, it contains only information about building Solar Panels, with hardly a mention of how to build Wind generators.
